Fiber art has been at the heart of my creativity for decades. I offer workshops and resources that take participants on a journey from raw animal fibers to stunning finished projects, all while emphasizing sustainability and respect for the animals that provide these materials.

Consultant for Fiber Farming and Agritourism

With years of experience running successful fiber farms, I help aspiring farmers and agritourism entrepreneurs bring their visions to life. From farm setup to creative projects, I guide clients every step of the way.

My Journey

My journey has taken me from a childhood fascination with nature to earning a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and teaching college biology for nearly three decades. Along the way, I built six farms, cared for countless animals, and created fiber and fabric art that reflects the beauty and complexity of life. Selling my farm marked a significant transition, opening the door to focus on inspiring others through speaking, teaching, and consulting.

What Drives Me

I believe in the power of connection—whether it’s between people, animals, or the natural world. My work is driven by a deep appreciation for the beauty in life’s details, the importance of kindness, and the joy of learning. I aim to share this perspective through everything I do, inspiring others to find their own paths to creativity, resilience, and success.
